Ladairo Mencía is a classic Monterrei wine. This wine comes from the work of one of the best winegrowers in the DO. The winery has part of its vineyards on hillsides, where schists and clays predominate. That is why its Mencías are wines with great intensity on the nose, yellow with lemon reflections. Its nose is not very intense, but its complexity of ripe fruits such as apple compote, tropical fruits such as lychee or pear and hints of hay make us forget this lack of aromas. On the palate, it is dry, smooth, fresh, slightly warm, with a perfect bitterness that complements the ripe stone fruits and the tropical retronasal aromas. It is a complex, round and persistent wine.
